Evil Mouse

At first, she was bummed to be a mouse - kind of a demotion from soldier last year. Then she discovered the mice are EVIL!!

At one point, she did pull the owner of the dance studio aside to say "I don't think my part is long enough!" She's been promised a longer part next year..that's my girl!

A glimpse of our future

This has been an historic week in the US, and I have to wonder how does this affect Sammy's life? Is her generation truly going to be post-racial?

She's going to grow up and be able to remember an African-American President...and what else?!

On the one hand, the economic conditions are frightening; on the other, the possibilities of America seem limitless.

It's a good time to be 6 years old...or 36 for that matter.
